Building trust based on relationships, either career or personal life, is a important thing. It can bring you to sucess if you can do it, and it can make you loss if you can’t. I believe that one of the most important ingredients is keeping your promises and don't violate the rule.
Try to conduct your life in this manner. If you tell someone that you will do something for them, you can't turn around at the last minute and say or igonre it, I didn't do it because it wasn't convenient or some other reason. Keeping your promises is also a way to live your life with integrity.
Think twice before you promise,Decide whether this is a promise you want to make, ask yourself why you need to make this promise, is the result will be positive ?Do you have enough time to do what you promising? Do you have the energy and enthusiasm to do what you promising to do? if you can't do it , it's time to learn say NO.
Tell someone that you intend to do something without sealing it as a promise. Just let them know that you want to do it, and you will try, but you are not sure if you can. Be honest about it.
